The Youth Music Ministry
takes a well-deserved break during the summer months, resuming in
late August. In June, July and August you may enjoy special
guest music at the 8:20 service.
The combined Senior and Mid High Youth Choir rehearses on
Wednesdays from 6:45 - 8:00 PM in the choir room. Their director
is Bert Fox and Mac Pannill is the accompanist. They lead
worship every Sunday for the 8:20 AM service.
New Spirit is an auditioned group of youth singers and band
members. They lead worship for the 9:45 AM Contemporary Worship
Service on a quarterly basis. Their rehearsals are from 6:00 - 7:00
PM on Tuesday evenings in the CLC. Rob Phillips and Laura
Minick are the directors. Auditions for the ensemble are normally
held at the end of August in the CLC.
Spirit
Ringers is for Mid High students wishing to play hand bells.
They rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 5:00 - 6:00 PM in the Sanctuary.
Beth Laverty is the director. After a well-deserved summer
break, regular rehearsals resume in September.
Sanctuary Ringers is for
Senior High students wishing to play hand bells. They rehearse on
Wednesday evenings from 8:00 - 8:45 PM in the Sanctuary. Beth
Laverty is the director. After a well-deserved summer break, regular
rehearsals resume in September.
The combined Senior and Mid-High Youth Orchestra rehearses
on Sundays from 4:00 - 4:50 PM in the sanctuary. Such an ensemble
offers youth age players of strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion
an opportunity to assist in leading worship for the 8:20 AM service.
Laura Minick and Joel Schnoor are the directors. After well-deserved
summer break, regular rehearsals will resume in August.
This combined group of Mid-High and Senior-High guitarists
meet on Tuesdays from 5:00 - 6:00 PM in the CLC. Rob Phillips
is their leader.
